Sarah will be graduating from the Jewish Theological Seminary (JTS) in May, 2025 with a Master of Arts in Jewish Education. Her focus is on Educational Leadership.
She began her graduate studies with JTS at the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies in Jerusalem. She was also selected to be a Nachshon Graduate Fellow, a 3-year fellowship dedicated to the development of North American Jewish Leaders.
Sarah graduated from Brandeis University, Magna Cum Laude, double majoring in Education Studies and Near Eastern & Judaic Studies with a minor in Psychology. She spent a semester in Israel, at Hebrew University as an Undergraduate Nachshon Fellow. Additionally, she was a Mandel Teaching Fellow and Research Assistant for the History of Jewish Day Schools project.
She has interned for the CEO of the Jewish Federation of Greater Fairfield County, developed the tefillah curriculum for K-7 at Shaarei Tikvah, and was a Project Consultant for Prizmah, an organization dedicated to strengthening North American day schools. She also taught grades 2-6 at four different religious schools and was a Jewish Education Specialist at Camp Young Judaea Sprout Lake.
Sarah’s deep love for and commitment to the Jewish community and Israel developed at a young age. She attended Jewish Day Schools, became very involved with USY and her synagogue, and spent her summers at Camp Ramah Palmer. She enjoys bringing her passion for Judaism and Israel to life for others, especially children and teens. She is excited to be part of the TCS team and looks forward to getting to know the community.
