Types of Funds

  • General Fund: Donations to the General Fund support our operating expenses so TCS can be here to serve our community.
  • Building Fund: This fund is used for the general repair, maintenance and upkeep of the Synagogue building and its equipment.
  • Rabbi’s and Cantor's Discretionary Funds: Donations to the Rabbi’s or Cantor's Discretionary Funds are used for charitable purposes consistent with the synagogue’s tax exempt purposes, to assist individual, educational and communal needs that may be necessary to be met in a confidential manner, or those whose needs would bring a benefit unable to be met through other means.

You can make your donation online using our payment portal above.  You may also, of course, mail a check at any time to 30 Hillspoint Road, Westport, CT  06880.  Please complete the contribution form and be sure to include your current phone number with the check in case there is a need to contact you.
