Today is November 19, 2017 -
We hope that you are enjoying your summer! We are looking towards the High Holy Days and have been busy planning to usher in 5778 together.
TICKETS: In order to ensure the safety of all congregants, this year we will again be collecting tickets for every adult over 18 years old. All members in good standing will receive a personalized set of tickets for each adult listed on Synagogue membership for each service: Erev Rosh Hashanah, Rosh Hashanah first day, Rosh Hashanah second day, Kol Nidre, Yom Kippur morning and Yom Kippur afternoon. Please remember to bring your ticket to each service and give it to the ushers. If you forget your ticket, you will be directed to an individual who will have a list of all members and guests. Even if you know the usher, you will need a ticket or to have your name marked on the list. We kindly ask for your cooperation and patience as we follow this important safety procedure.
ADDITIONAL PARKING: Parking/shuttle bus location information appears on the back of each ticket. Please refer to the mailing you received and your tickets.
If you require accessible parking at TCS, you must reserve a space in advance. This accommodation is available to drivers with a government-issued parking permit. Please contact the office no later than September 12 and let us know for which days you need an accessible space.
NEW THIS YEAR: As detailed in Rabbi Wiederhorn’s upcoming bulletin article, the service on Day 1 of Rosh Hashanah will end at 12:30PM, which is a bit earlier than in the past. This will coincide with the conclusion of services/activities for all children and teens. Also new for teens: a teen-led service for Rosh Hashanah Day 1 and Yom Kippur.
ADDITIONAL TICKETS, BABYSITTING & BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE: For efficiency, ticket requests for young adult children ages 18-30, ticket purchases for out-of-town guests, and babysitting reservations have moved on-line. Please click here for Member Log-In . You may also download these forms, as well as the form for Book of Remembrance (see above), and return them to the synagogue office. All requests, either on-line or in paper form, should be completed or returned by August 31.
On behalf of Rabbi Wiederhorn, Cantor Cattan, the staff and our fellow Board members of TCS, we wish you and your family a New Year filled with joy, good health and peace.
