Shabbat and Holidays

As a Conservative Jewish preschool, we introduce children to Shabbat and Jewish holidays through music, art and cooking.  We respectfully acknowledge family traditions and common values that unite us all.  The Rabbi and Cantor are constant resources for our Shabbat and holiday celebrations.

Rabbi Wiederhorn and Cantor Berman are frequent visitors to our classrooms and provide an engaging introduction to Jewish culture including our Shabbat celebrations and holidays.

Throughout the year, each child has an opportunity to invite his/her family to join in the classroom celebration of Shabbat.  Additionally, in celebration of many holidays such as Chanukah, Purim and Passover, parents come to participate with their children.
